Thanksgiving

Aren't my mom & dad cute? We spent Thanksgiving down south at Boris & Coco's. Now we'll find out if my mom really reads my blog ;)
I was able to get a half-way-decent picture of the kids for our Christmas card, but most turned out like this.
We spent time playing with cute cousins,
causing trouble,
and just having fun.
We even had a pinata,
and a little baby shower/lunch for my sister, Alli. She is having boy #2!
Matthew practiced riding a bike without pedals,
while Kylie fed horses.
It was a great Thanksgiving. We wish we could hang out with our cousins all the time - We miss them!

Thanksgiving and More

Shortly before Thanksgiving, Matthew lost his tooth. He looks so much older without it! I cannot stop staring at his new smile. I miss the cute little baby teeth, but he is adorable without his tooth!

I made his toothfairy pillow just in time - he would not have been happy if he had to use Kylie's pink one again :) The toothfairy brought $2 in exchange for his perfect little tooth.

For Thanksgiving we headed South to spend a few days with my family. Here are all the crazy cousins hanging out in the basement.

Is it just me, or do Kylie and Harper look like sisters? Watch out Autumn - I could totally pass her off as my own :) Kylie followed Harper around the entire time we were there, she couldn't get enough of her.

Little addicts - Atticus and Matthew sneaking in some DS time.

We had our annual white elephant exchange - always fun. April is the proud owner of a rooster cookie jar.

After Thanksgiving, we had a baby shower for my very pregnant (having her baby on Tuesday!) sister, Alli.

The little girls offered to rub her swollen feet for her. So sweet.
Thanks Mom & Dad for another great Thanksgiving!

Turkey Day

The day before Thanksgiving, I helped with Matthew's party at school.  Then we loaded up the car and left for Mema and Popa's house.

We decided to go visit the cows and sheep, only to discover it was very rainy outside - so we skipped the mudfest and played in the front yard instead.

Jayden liked Auntie Ang giving her whipped cream - she kept coming back for more.

All 4 of my sisters made it this year - I am so happy I was able to see everyone.

Everyone was loving on sweet little Harper the whole time.  Harper was a little tired of the attention by time we left.

All the cousins - not a single one looking at my camera.

So, we left my parent's house and headed up to Park City for our annual date with the snow.  But, there's just one tiny problem.

Notice anything missing in these pictures?  That's right - no snow!  There is zero snow here!!!  We are seriously bummed.  We have been coming here the week after Thanksgiving for the past 9 years.  There has always been tons of snow for tubing, skiing, sledding and playing around in.  What's up Mother Nature?!   Oh well, atleast I can sleep late :)

Thanksgiving with My Family

Here are just a few of the highlights of our weekend with my crazy family. Visiting the neighborhood cows are always a highlight at Mema and Papa's. The trip would not be complete without a visit to the cows.

Something new was added to the video game tournament this year - Dance Dance Revolution & Sing Star. I have to admit I enjoyed embarrassing myself with both of these - for some reason I just didn't care about the fact that I have a horrid voice. When these 2 games were not being played, John & Keith played Guitar Hero every possible minute.

And of course there was the annual $1. store gift exchange/competition. This can get ugly - and usually does. My 2 kiddos were lucky enough to score these adorable pimp hats. Matthew is still carrying around the matching purse - or sorry, "toy bag."

I think one of my favorite things is seeing my dad actually relax and have some fun. Like his cool alligator hat? One of my parent's friends tied all the kids neat balloon toys.

LOVE having all the cousins together. My kids love their cousins! And yes, my sister, Alli, in the middle there, still thinks she's a kid :)

We wrapped up the weekend with some bowling. Guess who won? Yes, but I won't tell you my score - you don't need to know just how bad we all are.

Who left these 2 crazies in charge? Matthew just doesn't want to admit he is excited to ride a pink bull. Kylie took the way-cool donkey and left little brother with the pretty bull. Yet he finds no shame in carrying around a fuzzy blue pimp purse :)
