Matthew is always on the go and looking for trouble. He never has trouble falling asleep because he wears himself out daily. I thought it would be fun to share some of his silly moments - he is always doing and saying silly things that make us all smile (and sometimes cry). Like for our dinner prayer the other night he said the Pledge of Allegiance and called it the flag prayer. This week he also pulled off the little soft tabs inside our cabinet doors and drawers from all the bathrooms. He brought me a handful and said "Look Mom, I found pentagons!" He was so proud. I will be sure to post more Matthew fun as it happens - because as the other soccer parents have pointed out, Matthew is the reason the games are entertaining.

September Snow
That's right - snow in September. Yesterday we had to rush home from Primary program practice so the kids could throw snow at each other before it melted. They are constantly checking out the windows for snow now.

Fun Day!
Today was all about FUN! The kids won their soccer game this morning, and they both played great too. Then we went to a carnival at Kylie's school. There were lots of bouncy things and big slides, the kids had their hair painted neon, and there was plenty of carnival food for John. Then we came home and had friends over for a bbq. I am wiped out and ready for bed - goodnight :)

Go Green!
Kylie & Matthew had their first soccer game today. Kylie is #2 & Matthew is #4. Kylie loved it, but after a little collision on the field Matthew is on the questionable list for next week. He did really enjoy chasing the other kids and growling at them though!

mmmm, cake
Too much left over cake! Matthew is ready to take care of it. John had a great birthday yesterday. We went to dinner at his favorite place - Tepanyaki. Then we came home & a few of his friends were here waiting to surprise him and play computer games until 6 AM. 34 is going to be a good year :)
